Groups

A diverse group of homeschooling families. We organize activities such as Lego club, games day, skating, park days, splash pad days, hikes, field trips, meetings, coffee night, gymnastics and much more!
We are also on FACEBOOK where we share links and information found online related to homeschooling.

LHSG was founded by, and continues to be home to, a group of inter-denominational Christian parents united by a statement of faith, a mission and a desire to honour our Lord in our conduct (Phil. 1:27) as we educate our children in our home and enjoy activities and events with others outside of our homes.

A Christian Homeschool Co-Op. HIGH day stands for Homeschoolers In Gods Hands and this is what we desire to be reflected to our children, in and through HIGH Days.

FVHA is an acronym for Family Village Homeschool Association, a nonprofit organization founded to encourage and support families interested in home education. FVHA assists parents in understanding and fulfilling the laws requirements in Ontario and is affiliated with a few other local popular organizations. FVHA provides leadership and direction on issues facing Christian homeschoolers locally and on a Province wide basis.

An informal network of homebased educators seeking to enrich our children's lives, a mosiac of educational styles; respectful of our differences and appreciative of our similarities, families who have chosen to be actively involved in their children's education, families that provide opportunities to enhance their children's lives outside the home by planning, implementing, and engaging in activities for their children and themselves.

Members of Kids Learning Connections (KLC) are a diverse mix of people. We are large families and small; we are homeschoolers and unschoolers and everything in between. So what brings us together? What is our common ground? A desire to provide enriching activities and opportunities for our kids; a chance to share hobbies and interests with others; an opportunity to grow our children's world by bringing unique people to us or exploring different venues; a chance to be with friends and to make new friends.

If you know of another group to add here, please let me know.

  1. Hi, Leon Viljoen here. My wife and I with our 5 children arrived in Sarnia on the 9th of February this year. I am considering homeschooling our younger three. Ages 11,9,5. Please advise on options.
